Life is a Revelation…be encouraged

We avoid teeling the Truth because of the pain it may or may not cause, so we tell a lie which while perhaps not devastating at the moment, will destroy the bonds of trust and faith.
Please, tell the Truth. I know how painful it can be at times, but it is always better than the insidiousness of a lie.

Be encouraged!

  1. . . . and what a web we weave, when we practice to deceive.

This is so true. My gosh, sometimes people put in a few words, a whole book of knowledge.
I have always, always endeavoured to live by my heart, but met confusion at times for I’ve been gullible, walked on, stuff, you know.
Lying I find genuinely difficult to ACTUALLY DO. I can’t do it with ease, and it would have to be a big situation that would have me lie. For instance, when I went to rehab, I told Daniel to tell his friends I had gone away on business for a week, and that’s why his aunty was looking after him. That was a lie – but it was purposeful for the best, to me.
As for people who construct their life with lies, I just wouldn’t survive myself!! I’d be like a spider getting all tangled in his own web – I just couldn’t do it!!

The truth hurts when it’s a mirror of something you have not faced in yourself, I think. Otherwise, the truth is liberating and you live freely in it.

  3. Very encouraged I felt reading this. Thanks!
