  1. Beautiful reminder! Thanks for sharing it!

  2. I agree very much with this. I think our subconscious has quite an impact on how we view others, how we treat them, and how they treat us back (that one, often but not always).

Thanks for subscribing to and following my blog. Yours is very interesting – I’m enjoying poking around it.

    • Nancy I am honored to have you as a reader…truth is I am honored anyone reads my stuff.

I laughed as I read the water in the shower and bathing story. My wife Susie and I are parents to Jake the Wonder Dog, Callie the Sleek Dog, OC the World’s Tiniest Cat, Zip the Pet Me Now or Die Cat, and Annie Now Called Andy Because My Stupid Parents Can’t Recognize Sex Parts On a Cat, all rescues. They shower us with love every second of every day and we try our best to return the love. Our cats are fanatical about water. They will jump in the shower and walk around while the water soaks them and they act like it is the most normal thing in the world. Jake on the other hand things water was born from the loins of satan himself. He much prefers to roll around in horse turds. We know when he has done it because he starts up our lane with his head about a 1/2 inch off the ground (he is a Jack Russell). You would think we beat him.

So please prod and poke around all you want…take your shoes off, put your feet, and scratch where it itches…

      • Your response made me laugh! I had a cat like that too who you would have thought was the most abused animal in the world. We got him as a kitten at six weeks old so we knew he’d never been abused or neglected. Just spoiled.

You stay encouraged also and keep on laughing.

      • With our menagerie, a good laugh is never very far away.

        Be encouraged!
